Handgame

The Guerrilla Collection 2022 includes the iconic Handgame (1995) choreographed by Black Grace Founding Artistic Director Neil Ieremia (ONZM).

Handgame was choreographed in 1995 as part of Relentless, one of Ieremia’s earliest full-length works which was based on child abuse.

The work has been remounted in 2022 and performed by Black Grace at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre in Auckland and The Opera House in Wellington alongside local youth guest artists.
