Anapela Polataivao
Anapela Polataivao is a theatre director and actor. She is Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School trained and is based in South Auckland. Her acting film credentials include Zia Mandviwalla’s short film Night Shift and Tusi Tamasese’s One Thousand Ropes. She has directed numerous theatre productions including Wild Dogs Under My Skirt by Tusiata Avia. She is currently an artist in residency at the Nathan Homestead in Manurewa and as part of their summer initiative, she is developing a new work to be staged at the homestead’s manicured lawns.
